How to Manually Set Up PHPList 3.0.12 on Plesk
As of the writing of this article, the PHPList from the Plesk Application Vault was at 3.0.6. This version required PHP's magic_quotes to be turned on. magic_quotes was however deprecated as of PHP 5.4 leading to an error during the installation.
This article is a guide on how to manually install PHPList 3.0.12 on Plesk. It should also work on other hosting platforms.

Extract the files to be uploaded

Upload the files to the specified directory

Create a database

Update your config file
- Hand over installation to PHPList.
