How to Set Up Email Accounts on Microsoft Outlook 2007
Note: To complete these steps, you will need to know your email address, password, incoming mail server name, and outgoing mail server name as provided by your Hosting Provider.

On the Tools menu, click Account Settings.

On the Email tab, click New.

In the Add New Email Account dialog box, click IMAP and then click Next.

Click to select the Manually configure server settings or additional server types check box, and then click Next.

Click Internet Email, and then click Next.

Under User Information, follow these steps:
- In the Your Name box, type your full name e.g. A. N. Other
- In the Email Address box, type your full e-mail address e.g. another@yourdomainname.co.rw

Under Server Information, click the type of email account that you have in the Account Type box (we recommend IMAP)
- In the Incoming mail server box, type mail.yourdomainname.co.rw
- In the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) box, type mail.yourdomainname.co.rw

Under Login Information, follow these steps:
- In the User Name box, type your full e-mail e.g. another@yourdomainname.co.rw
- In the Password box, type your password
- If you want Outlook to remember your email account password, click to select the Remember password check box.
- Click More Settings button
- In the Internet E-mail Settings screen, click the Outgoing Server tab.
- Ensure My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication box is checked, and select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
- Click Advanced tab
- Ensure Incoming server is set to 143 for IMAP or 110 for POP3 and Outgoing server (SMTP) is set to 25 (3666 can be used here too)
- Click OK to save

Clear Test Account Settings by clicking the Next button checkbox.

Click Test Account Settings... button to have Outlook perform diagnostic tests on the setup (if all is well it should report two success messages)

After it finishes, click Close.
- Click Next button, then Finish button to close the account creation wizard.
