How to Copy Emails from a POP3 Account on Outlook Back to the Server Mailbox
You setup a POP3 account on Outlook and one day discovered that the emails were deleted from the server once retrieved by your Outlook. This is how to copy them back to the server.

First, alter your POP3 account to leave a copy of the messages on the server. To do this:

On the Tools menu, click Account Settings.

On the Email tab, select your account and click Change.
- Click on More Settings and on the Advanced tab check the option Leave a copy of the message on the server.

- Next, setup a new IMAP account on your Outlook for the same email address:

Next, copy the emails from your POP3 inbox to your IMAP inbox.
- Lastly, remove one of the accounts depending on whichever you want to retain.
